Welcome to the official website of Woodward Township Volunteer Fire Company. Established on February 23rd, 1948, we proudly serve Woodward and Anthony Townships in Lycoming County, PA. Our dedicated team offers exceptional fire, rescue, and EMS services to our community. With our rapid intervention team, we extend our assistance to various local municipalities. To combat brush and forest fires, we operate a brush truck and a UTV that swiftly respond to emergencies in the area. Our primary apparatus, Squad 2, houses all the necessary equipment for rescue and firefighting operations. Equipped with a complete set of Hurst e-Draulic Rescue tools and rope rescue equipment, it ensures our readiness for any situation. Additionally, Tanker 2 carries 3000 gallons of water, serving as our primary water source due to the absence of fire hydrants.

To sustain our operations, we rely on various sources of income. Special Events like Handgun Bingo, Breakfasts, and other Fundraising Activities play a significant role in generating funds. Moreover, the fire tax in Woodward and Anthony Townships provides essential support to our department. Throughout the year, we organize a range of fundraisers to further bolster our resources.

We also rent our social hall out for special functions and auctions.
